The Productivity Nexus for Retail and F&B, in collaboration with F&B Connects organised the Rockin’ Retail 2.0 talk, which feature special speakers from JD.com. The speakers from JD were Mr. Alex Kremer, Vice-President of JD Retail and Mr. Lionel Chen, Manager of JD Retail.
The event was officiated by YB Chong Chieng Jen, Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade & Consumer Affairs. Other relevant speakers were Datin Rusiah Mohamed, the Director of Matrade who spoke on the government support in promoting cross border eCommerce.
More than 400 participants were fixed on the sharing by Alex Kremer on the potential of Malaysian brands to sell to the China market. The engaging session saw participants learning about the benefits of cross border eCommerce and leveraging JD.com’s technology to grow their sales.

The next day, more than 50 Malaysian brands and merchants gathered at Fave’s new headquarters to learn more about the onboarding process with JD Worldwide.
