Unveiling of Malaysia Flagship Store Design

JDMas unveiled its iconic Nyonya inspired store design via an online launch with its merchants. The event was officiated by Datuk T.S. Yong, Executive Director of Malaysia China Business Council (MCBC) at JDxPresto Store at Quill City Mall. 

The design was inspired by the Peranakan culture that was popularised in China through the 45 episode series China reproduction of the “Little Nyonya” streamed on iQiyi that has garnered more than 800 million views in China. The Peranakan culture also reflected the Malaysian brand which has Malay, Chinese, Western and other flavours. 

En. Nuraslan Hadi, the Director of eTrade from Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) was speaker at the event and shared the agencies plans to support JDMas merchants in their cross border journey.

Also present at the launch were Mr. Samuel Lee, Deputy CEO of MCBC, Ms. Carol Fung, eCommerce Manager of Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), Mr. Kent Lee of Smuzcity, the logistics partner of JDMas.
